For the Fall of 2024, I have reported on the arts and culture scene of Central New York, covering stories that highlight the region's creativity and community impact. From profiling a local artist to exploring the challenges facing the arts, my work has focused on showcasing the voices and visions that make CNY a cultural hub. Through in-depth reporting, I’ve aimed to connect audiences with the stories behind the art.

Through interviews and storytelling, the piece captures her creative process, the impact of winning a Blackstone LaunchPad award, and how she bridges fashion and functionality to redefine athletic wear.

My two-way interview with Stephen Butler, Executive Director of CNY Arts, provided a dynamic exchange about the future of arts funding in New York State. We discussed the potential impacts of budget cuts on local organizations and explored the value of arts programming in fostering community and economic growth. The interview also delved into his vision for advocacy and collaboration to sustain the arts, offering a perspective on the challenges and opportunities ahead. The final project was trimmed to a 4 minute audio conversation.
